Young Intellectual Property Research Day (JJRPI)

In partnership withIRPI

The Journée de la Jeune Recherche en Propriété Intellectuelle (JJRPI) is dedicated to doctoral students specializing in intellectual property and digital law.

It is part of a partnership with the University of Paris 2 and its Henri Desbois Research Institute, which promotes research in intellectual property and digital law through support for young researchers (doctoral students).

It is supported by most of France's specialized laboratories, and gives doctoral students the opportunity to present their dissertation projects to eminent French and foreign academics. The event welcomes internationally renowned specialists to discuss innovative issues in intellectual property law and digital law from a comparative law perspective. The richness of these exchanges enables doctoral students to pursue their work after having received a number of scientific opinions, and to gain a better understanding of their subject. The aim is to reflect on cutting-edge topics in intellectual property and digital law through the work of doctoral students and the organization of a collective round-table discussion with specialists in the field.

Previous editions were organized by Université Paris-2. The JJRPI Scientific Committee has decided to have the event hosted by the partner establishments. This year, the JJRPI is organized by the University of Montpellier, thanks to the mobilization of the ERCIM team (UMR 5815).
